Patients who have lost areas of their peripheral vision due to various injuries such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, tumors, etc. can benefit greatly from vision rehabilitation services with our clinic. These patients often endure difficulties in missing or neglecting these areas of vision loss, which can result in further problems. Objects, animals and people that cannot be seen while these patients are looking straight ahead pose risk of falls, bumping into things, knocking things over and more. We use a multi system technique through the application of specialized prism expanders affixed to glasses, training and vision scanning therapy exercises are provided as well. We work with occupational therapy centers and driving rehabilitation centers to offer a full-scale comprehensive program.
